Chatham Girl Scouts is partnering with LPF, a non profit that redistributes equipment to expand access and equity within youth sports and recreation programs in under-resourced communities.
We appreciate you making sure your donations are still in safe, functional condition. Drop off locations noted below or connect with Jessica.romeo@gmail.com for alternate drop off plans. Thanks so much for helping Girl Scouts make a difference!!!
This year's event is all about Girls and Women in Sports - the power of sports (mental and physical health, socialization, confidence, leadership, etc). Girls will kick off the event with a fun workout lead by Chatham High Schools Coach Hennelly, we'll hear from a local Girl Scout mom who happens to be a fabulous PA about injury prevention, we'll engage in some super fun activities, we'll sort the equipment to be donated to Leveling the Playing Field, and have discussions on issues relevant to girls in sports. Girls owrking on highest awards that are relevant are invited to set up a table and present their projects. We want as much girl led progamming as possible. Please let me know if you have any questions. Jessica.Romeo@gmail.com
