Join us to recognize Chatham Girl Scouts who have earned their Silver and Gold Awards, as well as the graduating seniors, the class of 2026! All are invited to attend as it's a great way for the younger girls to see what's in their future as they continute to grow in Girl Scouts!

Registration: Silver and Gold Award recipients and graduation seniors, please let your troop leaders know if you will attend so we are prepared. We suggest guests come with a donation for CUMC food pantry.

We are excited to announce that our 2026 Gold/Silver and Graduating Senior Award Ceremony will be held on Wednesday May 27th at 7pm. Plan on a 1-1/2 hour ceremony with light refreshments after at the Chatham United Methodist Church on Main Street.
The current list of confirmed Gold Awards include 3 girls - Paige Zucchi (troop 96193), Asher Robson (troop 96147), Cameron Shull (troop 96171). We have two Gold Awards pending. We have 17 graduating seniors (troops 96147, 96171, 96193). Please let us know if anyone is missing or their Gold Award approval is pending - we'd be thrilled to add them!
We currently have 16 approved Silver Awards for this year's ceremony. Please let us know if any girls are planing to have their Silver Award approved and awarded by May 27th and we'll include them as well.
Each award recipient is required to provide a short write up (no more than 5 sentences) to be included in the program for the ceremony. Please email them to Jessica Romeo at jessica.romeo@gmail.com no later than May 1st to be included in the program. Gold Award recipients please also include a photo you'd like to be used in the program. Graduating Seniors - your senior photo works well for this!
We would also love the girls to create trifold posterboards descirbing their projects to be displayed at the event. Let us know if you have any questions on this - please encourage the girls to do this.
Troop Leaders are responsible for obtaining the Gold or Silver Award pins from GSNNJ. Proof of approval is required when picking them up. Please pick up all pins at least a month before the ceremony just in case they encounter stock issues (it's a busy time of year).
